Miro employs giant arrows against a sky where colored forms denote the position of the stars named after Perseus’ daughters. The arrows, like shooting meteors, traverse the skies and originate from the constellation Perseus. Each image in the series takes on a figural aspect as well, as the bold and dynamic lines lead the eye across the page and conjure the image of a woman or a face of a celestial goddess. The clear and forceful elements, which Miro employs with vivid colors and powerful thick black lines, float on a soft background and give further clarity to the spatial positions of his imaginary constellations.
